Resource: seen & HEARD

September 28th, 2012

Seen & HEARD is a new secondary teaching resource from UNICEF which explores children’s rights and child poverty in the UK.

Based on the real experience of a 12 year old living below the poverty line, the pack includes a DVD film and supporting materials.

Seen & HEARD addresses the causes of poverty, its consequences, children’s rights and planning a campaign against it. Relevant to Citizenship and PSHEe and supportive of the key elements of UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School Award, Seen & HEARD is available for online and in hard copy.
